✧ My communities ✧
Memories
The communities that shaped me. Each one taught me something different about building, belonging, and showing up.
Boston Hurricanes
9 Man Volleyball
A volleyball team sport with nine players per side and a slightly larger court, played by Chinese immigrants to the US. I competed as a player on the Boston Hurricanes team, practicing twice a week and traveling to tournaments across New England.
Northeastern's software consultancy club
Sandbox
Northeastern's premier software consultancy club where I developed Cooper, a full-stack co-op evaluation platform. Through Sandbox, I contributed to real projects, bonded with fellow builders, and attended yearly retreats in New Hampshire.
Northeastern's premiere K-Pop dance team
KADA
I started dancing when I entered college. Through KADA, I performed in school events like Dance4Me and KASA Culture Show, and filmed K-Pop dance covers. Sophomore year, I served as Vice President of KADA.
Building fast, learning faster
Hackathon Community
Hackathons taught me to ship quickly under pressure. I competed at HackMIT, HackBeanpot, HackBrown, BU Hack, and HackUMass—winning placements and meeting amazing builders. I also organized FinHacks, bringing the hackathon experience to others.
